I have been using TV wall mounts in my kids' rooms for some time now.  I have found that it's really helpful to have the TV up high where they can't reach it, for many reasons.  For one thing, they can't get fingerprints all over it if they cannot reach the TV.  That saves me from having to clean it so often, which I love.  Another reason is that they can't pull the TV down and hurt themselves or break the TV.  It's up high and secured to the TV wall mount, so there is no way for them to do that.  The kids' rooms have bunk beds too, so having the TV up higher makes it easy for both kids on the bunk beds to see it.  The fact that the TV wall mount saves space in their rooms is an added bonus.  It doesn't have to sit on furniture, so that furniture can be used to hold other things.  Saving space is always a good thing in smaller rooms.  I love having the TVs on the wall mounts.
