When my son moved out to be on his own, the first thing he wanted to buy was a LCD flat panel TV. He had been saving for this one item for awhile. He lucked out, because the prices have come down so much on flat screen TV's. After getting settled in, he decided he would move into the smallest bedroom to save a little money on his portion of the rent.
